THE WALK - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 5, 2008
The goals of the SoCal HistioWalk are, as always, to raise funds and awareness in the fight against histiocytosis and to provide support to the patients and families who are facing this unpredictable disease. Last year we raised over an amazing $45,000 and this year we hope to raise even more. Proceeds from this event will be used in the following ways:
• to fund research into histiocytic disorders
• to support patients and families through
area meetings, educational materials, and
other services
• to increase awareness and education
among physicians in Southern California
FUNDRAISING
We encourage all participants to help raise more money by soliciting donations. Enlist your friends, family and co-worker.
FABULOUS PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED TO THE TOP THREE (3) FUNDRAISERS.
*All participants who raise at least $100 will receive an 8th Annual SoCal Histio Walk t-shirt.
